Introduction

Three high-end robot vacuum cleaners present themselves as advanced solutions for those seeking to automate home cleaning without compromise. The Roborock Qrevo Curv 2 Pro and the Roborock Saros 10R represent the commitment of the world's leading brand in this segment, whilst the Mova V50 Ultra arrives as an alternative from Dreame under its second commercial brand. All three models are from 2025 and share intelligent navigation technologies, multifunctional bases and mopping systems with rotating mops.

These are devices designed for medium and large homes seeking complete autonomy in vacuuming and mopping. The fundamental difference between them lies in suction power, the specific navigation system, washing and drying temperatures, and some details that can make a difference depending on the type of flooring or the presence of pets at home.

Power and Suction

The Roborock Qrevo Curv 2 Pro leads in raw power with 25,000 Pa of suction, a figure that clearly exceeds the 18,500 Pa of the Saros 10R. The Mova V50 Ultra sits close to the first with 24,000 Pa. In homes with thick carpets or pets that shed a lot of hair, this difference can be particularly noticeable during deep vacuuming.

All three devices feature anti-tangle dual roller brushes: the DuoDivide system in the two Roborock models and a dual anti-tangle brush in the Mova. This type of design pushes hairs towards the centre to prevent tangles, something essential if you live with pets. All lift the main brush during mopping to avoid wetting carpets.

A relevant difference appears in the side brush. The Saros 10R and the Mova V50 Ultra can lift the side brush during mopping, whilst the Qrevo Curv 2 Pro does not have this function. All three have an extendable side brush to better reach corners and all incorporate anti-tangle technology in this auxiliary brush.

Mopping

The mopping system varies in intensity and temperature depending on the model. The Qrevo Curv 2 Pro applies 12N of pressure on the rotating mops at 200 RPM with cold water, the Saros 10R maintains 200 RPM but reduces pressure and uses warm water, whilst the Mova V50 Ultra increases speed up to 260 RPM with 8N of pressure and hot water at 50ºC to mop the floor directly.

Mop extension is present in all three robots, although the Mova V50 Ultra adds the RoboSwing system, which performs a lateral movement to insert the mop under overhangs and low furniture. This function can make a difference in kitchens with skirting boards or furniture where the robot doesn't fully enter.

Regarding mop lifting, the Saros 10R reaches between 12 and 22 mm, the Qrevo Curv 2 Pro between 7 and 17 mm, and the Mova V50 Ultra reaches up to 10.5 mm. If you have short or medium pile carpets, it's worth considering these values to prevent the mops from brushing against them during mopping. All three allow automatic mop removal at the base when you only want to vacuum, and all detect dirt both on the mops and on the floor to adjust cleaning.

Navigation System

The Qrevo Curv 2 Pro and the Mova V50 Ultra use 360° retractable LiDAR to map the environment, whilst the Saros 10R employs Roborock's StarSight 2.0 system. All three integrate dual camera with artificial intelligence, front 3D laser sensor and LED for night vision.

The number of recognised obstacles differs: 200 in the Qrevo Curv 2 Pro and the Mova V50 Ultra, compared to 108 in the Saros 10R. All identify pets and allow remote camera access from the mobile for surveillance. Only the Mova V50 Ultra detects curtains, which allows it to adjust navigation near hanging fabrics.

In cleaning intelligence, the Qrevo Curv 2 Pro incorporates SmartPlan 3.0, the Saros 10R features SmartPlan 2.0 and the Mova V50 Ultra uses CleanGenius 2.0. All recognise stains through AI and adapt cleaning in real time.

Autonomy and Battery

Battery capacity is identical in all three models: 6,400 mAh. However, actual battery life varies considerably. The Roborock Qrevo Curv 2 Pro achieves 290 minutes of continuous operation, the Mova V50 Ultra reaches 220 minutes and the Saros 10R remains at 180 minutes.

This difference is key in large homes or those with multiple floors. The Qrevo Curv 2 Pro can clean large surfaces without needing intermediate recharges, whilst the Saros 10R will need to return to the base sooner in spaces exceeding 150 m².

Smart Features

The ability to overcome obstacles marks an important difference. The two Roborock models overcome single steps of up to 30 mm and double steps of 40 mm. The Mova V50 Ultra raises these figures to 42 mm on single steps and 60 mm on double steps, which allows it to navigate more pronounced thresholds and thick cables with greater ease.

All three robots integrate their own voice assistant and are compatible with Alexa and Google Home. None feature a robotic arm.

Multifunctional Cleaning Base

All three bases perform auto-emptying of the dust container, mop washing and drying. The mop washing temperature reaches 100°C in the Qrevo Curv 2 Pro, whilst the Saros 10R and the Mova V50 Ultra wash at 80°C. More intensive washing helps to better eliminate grease residue and bacteria.

Mop drying also varies: the Mova V50 Ultra dries at 60°C, the Qrevo Curv 2 Pro at 55ºC and the Saros 10R at 45°C. Higher temperatures accelerate drying and reduce the risk of bad odours.

In self-cleaning of the washing tray, the Qrevo Curv 2 Pro and the Mova V50 Ultra incorporate the third generation of the system, whilst the Saros 10R features the second generation. Only the Mova V50 Ultra adds UV disinfection in the base.

The Saros 10R and the Mova V50 Ultra include a detergent tank in the base; the Mova V50 Ultra offers a dual tank to use different products depending on the type of flooring. The Qrevo Curv 2 Pro does not have this function.

In storage capacity, the dust bag of the Mova V50 Ultra reaches 3.2 litres, compared to the 2.5 litres of the two Roborock models. The clean water tank is 4 litres in all three models, but the dirty water tank varies: 3.5 litres in the Mova V50 Ultra and 3 litres in the other two.

Dimensions

The diameter of the robots is practically identical: between 350 and 353 mm. Height marks the main difference: the Qrevo Curv 2 Pro and the Saros 10R measure 79.8 mm, whilst the Mova V50 Ultra reaches 89.5 mm. Those additional 10 mm can limit access under certain furniture or low beds.

As for the bases, the Saros 10R is the most compact in width at 381 mm, compared to the 420 mm of the Mova V50 Ultra and the 450 mm of the Qrevo Curv 2 Pro. Base height varies between 450 mm in the Qrevo Curv 2 Pro, 470 mm in the Mova V50 Ultra and 488 mm in the Saros 10R.

The robot's internal tanks also differ slightly. The Mova V50 Ultra offers 300 ml of dust and 80 ml of water, the Saros 10R has 270 ml of dust and 69 ml of water, and the Qrevo Curv 2 Pro has 245 ml of dust and 67 ml of water. In practice, these differences barely matter because the bases empty and refill automatically.

Real-world experience

For large homes, the Roborock Qrevo Curv 2 Pro stands out for its 290-minute battery life and its 25,000 Pa power, ideal for covering large spaces without interruptions. The Mova V50 Ultra offers a solid alternative with 220 minutes of battery life, 24,000 Pa and greater obstacle climbing capability.

If you live with pets, all three devices feature effective anti-tangle brushes. The greater power of the Qrevo Curv 2 Pro can be advantageous on carpets with a lot of accumulated hair, although the Mova V50 Ultra compensates with higher mop rotation speed and higher mopping temperature.

In homes with many thresholds or uneven surfaces, the Mova V50 Ultra overcomes steps of up to 60 mm in double height, compared to the 40 mm of the Roborock models. For hard floors requiring intensive mopping, the hot water at 50ºC of the Mova V50 Ultra and its RoboSwing system for edges can make a difference.

The Saros 10R, with lower battery life and power, fits better in medium-sized flats where StarSight 2.0 navigation and the liftable side brush provide precision without needing extreme autonomy.

Conclusion: Which one to choose?

Choose the Roborock Qrevo Curv 2 Pro if you're looking for maximum suction power and battery life in a Roborock robot vacuum cleaner. With 25,000 Pa and 290 minutes of operation, it's ideal for large homes with thick carpets or multiple rooms. Mop washing at 100°C guarantees maximum hygiene, although it lacks a detergent tank and its side brush doesn't lift during mopping.

Choose the Roborock Saros 10R if you prioritise a compact base and StarSight 2.0 navigation in medium-sized spaces. Its liftable side brush and detergent tank improve mopping in moderately sized flats where the 180-minute battery life is sufficient. The lower power of 18,500 Pa may be noticeable on very dense carpets.

Choose the Mova V50 Ultra if you need to overcome obstacles of up to 60 mm, mopping with hot water at 50ºC and RoboSwing system for edges. Its 3.2-litre capacity in the dust bag and mop drying at 60°C with UV disinfection make it a complete option for homes with uneven surfaces, pets and hygiene requirements. The height of 89.5 mm may limit access under some furniture, but it compensates with 24,000 Pa of power and curtain detection.
