Introduction

The Dreame L50s Pro Ultra, the Roborock Qrevo Curv 2 Flow and the Roborock Saros 20 represent three high-end proposals launched in 2026 that aim to offer complete autonomous cleaning solutions. All three are equipped with a multifunction base with auto-emptying, mop washing and drying, albeit with different approaches in terms of mopping system and navigation capabilities.

The Dreame model opts for two rotating mops with RoboSwing system and an innovative dual HyperStream brush, whilst Roborock presents two alternatives: the Qrevo Curv 2 Flow with a 270 mm mopping roller, and the Saros 20 which stands out for its reduced height of just 79.8 mm and its impressive ability to overcome obstacles. Each is designed for different user profiles, from homes with lots of low furniture to households requiring maximum suction power.

Power and Suction

Suction power marks notable differences. The Roborock Saros 20 leads with 36,000 Pa, a figure that far exceeds the Dreame robot vacuum, which offers 30,000 Pa. The Roborock Qrevo Curv 2 Flow remains at 20,000 Pa, which may be sufficient for most homes but limited if there are long-pile carpets or pets that shed a lot of hair.

Regarding the brushing system, we find two distinct philosophies. The L50s Pro Ultra incorporates the Dual HyperStream Anti-Tangle Brush, specifically designed to prevent hair from tangling. This system of two brushes anchored at one end is especially useful in homes with pets. The two Roborock models mount the DuoDivide Anti-Tangle brush, which pushes hair towards the central gap to facilitate direct suction without tangles.

All three robots lift the main brush during mopping to avoid dragging wet dirt. The side brush also lifts in all cases, although only the Dreame L50s Pro Ultra and the Saros 20 feature an extendable side brush, which improves corner cleaning. The Qrevo Curv 2 Flow compensates with a dual anti-tangle side brush. In practice, this means that the Dreame model and the Saros 20 sweep corners better, whilst the Qrevo manages long hair better in side areas.

Mopping

Here appears one of the most important differences in this robot vacuum comparison. The Roborock Qrevo Curv 2 Flow uses a 270 mm roller that spins at 200 RPM, a system that covers more surface area in one pass and is effective on stuck-on stains. The Dreame L50s Pro Ultra and the Saros 20 opt for two rotating mops, spinning at 180 RPM and 200 RPM respectively, with the particularity that the Saros 20 applies a pressure of 13N.

The edge extension system is present in all three, but with nuances. The Dreame robot vacuum also incorporates RoboSwing movement, which allows it to get the mops under overhangs and furniture through a lateral body movement. The other two extend the mops without that additional movement.

Mop lifting varies considerably. The Qrevo Curv 2 Flow reaches 15 mm and also covers the roller when passing over carpets, preventing them from getting wet. The Saros 20 lifts between 12 and 22 mm depending on need, whilst the L50s Pro Ultra reaches 10.5 mm. For short-pile carpets, any will work well, but the Qrevo offers the best protection.

Only the Roborock Saros 20 mops with warm water, which improves the dissolution of grease and stuck-on dirt. The other two use cold water. As for automatic mop removal at the base to perform vacuuming only, this function is available in the L50s Pro Ultra and the Saros 20, but not in the Qrevo Curv 2 Flow, which, using a roller, cannot remove it automatically.

All three detect dirt both on the mops and on the floor, adjusting mopping intensity when necessary. This is useful in kitchens or high-traffic areas where more dirt accumulates.

Navigation System

The Roborock Saros 20 mounts the StarSight 2.0 system, whilst the L50s Pro Ultra and the Qrevo Curv 2 Flow use 360° LiDAR turret. All include AI camera, with the L50s Pro Ultra and the Saros 20 being those that feature dual camera, compared to the single camera of the Qrevo.

The number of recognised obstacles marks differences: the Saros 20 identifies up to 300 different types, the L50s Pro Ultra recognises 220 and the Qrevo Curv 2 Flow 200. In practice, this translates into greater precision to avoid small objects such as socks, cables or toys.

All three recognise pets and have remote camera access, which allows monitoring the home from the mobile. All incorporate LED for night vision. However, only the Dreame robot vacuum and the Saros 20 detect curtains, avoiding getting tangled in them during cleaning.

Regarding intelligent cleaning, the L50s Pro Ultra uses CleanGenius 3.0, whilst the two Roborock models employ SmartPlan 3.0. Both systems adjust routes and power according to the type of dirt detected.

Autonomy and Battery

The Roborock Saros 20 has a 6,400 mAh battery, superior to the 5,200 mAh that both the Dreame L50s Pro Ultra and the Qrevo Curv 2 Flow mount. This difference is especially noticeable in large homes or when mopping in intensive mode, as mopping consumes more energy than simple vacuuming.

We only know the autonomy of the Qrevo Curv 2 Flow: 242 minutes, sufficient to cover homes of up to 200 square metres in a single charge. Although we do not have the exact figure for the other two models, the greater capacity of the Saros 20 suggests superior autonomy, whilst the L50s Pro Ultra should be situated at similar figures to the Qrevo as they share battery capacity.

Intelligent Functions

The ability to overcome obstacles presents abysmal differences. The Roborock Saros 20 overcomes single steps of 45 mm and double steps of up to 88 mm, an extraordinary figure that allows it to negotiate practically any domestic unevenness, including very thick carpets or complicated transitions between rooms. The Dreame L50s Pro Ultra overcomes single steps of 22 mm and double steps of 40 mm, whilst the Qrevo Curv 2 Flow is limited to 20 mm.

All three robots include their own voice assistant and are compatible with external assistants such as Alexa or Google Home. This allows controlling them through voice commands without needing to open the application.

Multifunction Cleaning Base

All incorporate a multifunction base with auto-emptying of the dust bin, mop washing and drying. The differences are in the details. The Dreame L50s Pro Ultra and the Saros 20 wash the mops with hot water at 100°C, whilst the Qrevo Curv 2 Flow does so at 75°C. Higher temperatures eliminate bacteria and stuck-on grease better.

In drying, the L50s Pro Ultra dries at 45°C, whilst the Qrevo Curv 2 Flow and the Saros 20 reach 55°C, speeding up the process and preventing bad odours. The Roborock Saros 20 robot vacuum adds self-cleaning of the washing tray with hot water at 100°C, something that the L50s Pro Ultra also performs with its third-generation system.

The detergent tank is present in the L50s Pro Ultra and the Saros 20, but not in the Qrevo Curv 2 Flow. This allows adding cleaning product that is automatically dosed during mop washing.

The dust bag capacity favours the Dreame with 3.2 litres, followed by the Qrevo with 2.7 litres and the Saros 20 with 2.5 litres. In homes with pets or lots of dust, this can mean changing the bag every two months instead of every month and a half.

The clean and dirty water tanks also vary. The L50s Pro Ultra has 4.5 litres of clean water and 4 of dirty, the Qrevo 4 litres of clean and 3.5 of dirty, and the Saros 20 also 4 litres of clean and 3 of dirty. Greater capacity means more mopping autonomy without manual intervention.

Only the Dreame L50s Pro Ultra offers an optional plumbing connection kit, which is purchased separately. This accessory allows connecting the base directly to the water supply and drainage, eliminating the need to refill and empty tanks manually.

Dimensions

The robot's height is decisive in knowing whether it will be able to clean under furniture. The Roborock Saros 20 measures just 79.8 mm, allowing it to access under beds, sofas and wardrobes where the others cannot reach. The Dreame L50s Pro Ultra reaches 103.8 mm and the Qrevo Curv 2 Flow 119 mm. If you have lots of low furniture, the Saros 20 makes the difference.

The diameter is similar in all three: 350 mm for the Dreame and 353 mm for the two Roborocks. This does not significantly affect manoeuvrability in tight spaces.

The base dimensions vary considerably. The Qrevo Curv 2 Flow has a square base of 450x450x450 mm, more compact than that of the L50s Pro Ultra (340x590x457 mm) or the Saros 20 (381x488x475 mm). It is advisable to measure the available space before deciding, especially if the base will go in a corner or next to a piece of furniture.

Real-World User Experience

For large homes of more than 150 square metres, the Roborock Saros 20 offers the largest battery (6,400 mAh) and ability to overcome any obstacle, which reduces interruptions during cleaning. The Dreame L50s Pro Ultra also works well in large spaces thanks to its 3.2-litre dust bag and generous water tanks.

In homes with pets, the dual HyperStream brush of the L50s Pro Ultra minimises hair tangles, although the DuoDivide brush of the Roborocks also performs efficiently. The greater power of the Saros 20 (36,000 Pa) is advantageous for vacuuming hair embedded in carpets.

If you have lots of low furniture, the Saros 20 is the only truly viable option with its 79.8 mm height. No other robot in this comparison can compete in that aspect.

For those seeking the best mopping, the warm water of the Saros 20 and its 13N pressure offer superior results on difficult stains. The roller system of the Qrevo Curv 2 Flow also mops well, especially on large surfaces, although the impossibility of automatically removing the roller to do vacuuming only may be less practical.

Maintenance is straightforward in all three thanks to the multifunction bases, but the L50s Pro Ultra and the Saros 20 add the detergent tank
