Introduction

The Mova P50 Ultra and the Roborock Qrevo S Pro represent two high-end proposals in robot vacuum cleaners with multifunction base. The former arrived on the market in 2025, whilst the Roborock model was launched in April 2026. Both devices are designed to offer complete autonomous cleaning, both in vacuuming and mopping, with bases that wash and dry the mops automatically.

These robots are intended for users who seek to delegate home maintenance as much as possible. The technical differences between them are relevant depending on the type of home and specific cleaning needs.

Power and Suction

Suction power marks a notable difference in this robot vacuum cleaner comparison. The Mova P50 Ultra develops 19,000 Pascals, exceeding the Roborock Qrevo S Pro by 500 Pa. This advantage can translate into better pick-up of embedded dirt, especially on carpets or in homes with pets.

Both models incorporate a single silicone main brush, a design that significantly reduces hair tangles. Both also feature an anti-tangle side brush, which facilitates maintenance.

The most relevant difference appears in the lifting functions. The Mova robot vacuum lifts both the main brush and the side brush during mopping, reaching a height of 10.5 mm for the mops. This prevents the brushes from interfering with mopping and getting unnecessarily wet. The Roborock Qrevo S Pro, although it lifts the mops 10 mm, does not have brush lifting.

The Mova P50 Ultra's extendable side brush represents another practical advantage. This mechanism allows better sweeping of corners and edges, areas where dirt tends to accumulate more. The Roborock model does without this function.

Mopping

The mopping system of both robots uses two rotating mops. The Roborock Qrevo S Pro rotates the mops at 200 RPM, slightly above the Mova P50 Ultra's 180 RPM. In practice, this speed difference can be noticed in the ability to remove stuck-on stains.

However, the Mova P50 Ultra compensates with two exclusive functions: mop extension and RoboSwing system. The extension allows the mops to better reach edges and skirting boards, whilst RoboSwing is a lateral movement of the robot that helps introduce the mop under furniture and protrusions. The Roborock Qrevo S Pro does not offer either of these features.

Mop lifting works similarly in both. The Mova reaches 10.5 mm and the Roborock 10 mm, sufficient in both cases to pass over carpets without wetting them. Neither automatically removes the mops at the base nor incorporates dirt detection for re-mopping.

The bases of both robots wash the mops with hot water at 75°C and dry them with hot air at 45°C. These temperatures guarantee hygienic cleaning of the mops and effective drying that prevents bad odours. The Mova P50 Ultra adds third-generation self-cleaning in the washing tray, which further reduces manual maintenance. The Roborock does not include this function.

It is worth mentioning that the Mova offers an optional detergent tank that is purchased separately, something that may interest those seeking to maximise mopping effectiveness. The Roborock Qrevo S Pro does not contemplate this option.

Navigation System

Both models employ a 360° LiDAR turret to map the home and navigate with precision. Both have obstacle avoidance and AI-based intelligent cleaning systems: CleanGenius 2.0 in the case of the Mova and SmartPlan 2.0 in the Roborock.

The main difference lies in the front 3D laser sensor that the Mova robot vacuum incorporates. This sensor adds an extra layer of obstacle detection, complementing the information from the upper LiDAR. The Roborock Qrevo S Pro does not include this additional sensor.

The Mova P50 Ultra also detects curtains, a useful function to prevent the robot from getting tangled in hanging fabrics. The Roborock model lacks this specific capability.

Neither incorporates a front camera with AI, pet recognition, remote camera access nor front LED for night vision. Both are compatible with external voice assistants such as Alexa or Google Home.

Autonomy and Battery

Both robots mount 5,200 mAh batteries. The Roborock Qrevo S Pro specifies an autonomy of 180 minutes, data that the Mova P50 Ultra manufacturer does not detail in its technical specifications.

This autonomy is more than sufficient for medium or large-sized homes, allowing cleaning cycles to be completed without the need for intermediate recharging in most cases.

Intelligent Functions

The ability to overcome obstacles differs between both robots. The Mova P50 Ultra crosses steps up to 22 mm, whilst the Roborock Qrevo S Pro reaches 20 mm. These additional 2 mm can make the difference in homes with more pronounced floor transitions or high-pile carpets.

Neither model incorporates a robotic arm nor its own voice assistant, functions that remain reserved for higher price segments.

Multifunction Cleaning Base

The bases of both robots perform auto-emptying of the dust container, mop washing with hot water at 75°C and drying with hot air at 45°C. These functions are fundamental for maintaining truly autonomous cleaning.

The Mova P50 Ultra's dust bag has greater capacity: 3.2 litres compared to the Roborock Qrevo S Pro's 2.7. This half-litre difference means changing the bag less frequently, especially relevant in homes with pets or high dust generation.

The clean water tanks are identical in both: 4 litres. The dirty water tanks also match at 3.5 litres. This capacity allows multiple mopping sessions without the need to refill or empty manually.

The Mova P50 Ultra's third-generation self-cleaning of the washing tray minimises dirt accumulation in the base itself. The Roborock does not offer this function, which means manually cleaning the tray more frequently.

Neither includes UV disinfection nor integrated connection to plumbing. Nor do they offer optional kits to connect to the water mains.

Dimensions

The diameter of both robots is practically identical: 350 mm for the Mova and 353 mm for the Roborock. The height is also very similar, with 97 mm for the Mova P50 Ultra and 96.5 mm for the Roborock Qrevo S Pro. This minimal difference does not affect the ability to pass under furniture.

The base dimensions vary more. The Mova base measures 420 mm wide, 470 mm high and 458 mm deep. The Roborock's is 340 mm wide, 519 mm high and 487 mm deep. In practice, the Mova base occupies more width but less height, whilst the Roborock's is narrower but taller. It is advisable to measure the available space before deciding which robot to choose.

Real-World Experience

For homes with carpets or fitted carpets, the Mova P50 Ultra's greater suction power makes a difference. The 19,000 Pascals guarantee better extraction of embedded dirt. The silicone brush works well in both cases to avoid hair tangles.

In homes with pets, the larger volume of the Mova's dust bag (3.2 litres) reduces the frequency of changes. The anti-tangle brushes of both models facilitate maintenance, although the Mova adds advantages with brush lifting during mopping.

For mopping edges and corners, the Mova P50 Ultra offers clear advantages: extendable side brush, mops with extension and RoboSwing system. These functions improve coverage in difficult areas. The Roborock partially compensates with greater mop rotation speed.

The Mova's self-cleaning of the washing tray reduces base maintenance. This is especially convenient for users who prefer to intervene as little as possible. The Roborock requires manual cleaning of this area more frequently.

The Mova's ability to overcome obstacles (22 mm) benefits homes with irregular floor transitions or thick carpets. The Roborock's 20 mm is sufficient in most cases, but those extra 2 mm can prevent the robot from getting stuck.

Conclusion: Which to Choose?

Choose the Mova P50 Ultra if you seek maximum suction power and advanced mopping functions. It is the best robot vacuum for homes with complicated corners, thanks to the extendable side brush, mops with extension and RoboSwing system. It is also ideal if you prioritise reducing base maintenance with third-generation tray self-cleaning. The greater dust bag capacity makes it a solid option for homes with pets. If you need to overcome obstacles over 20 mm or value the additional front 3D laser sensor, this model offers clear advantages.

Choose the Roborock Qrevo S Pro if you prefer a robot vacuum from an established brand with greater mop rotation speed (200 RPM). Although it lacks some of the Mova's functions, it offers solid performance in vacuuming and mopping. It is a reliable option for homes without particularly complicated floor transitions or the need to clean edges with maximum precision. Its narrower base may fit better in reduced spaces. The specified 180-minute autonomy guarantees completing cleaning on large surfaces without interruptions.
