Introduction
Dreame presents three high-end models competing in the premium segment of robot vacuum cleaners with multifunctional base stations. The Dreame L50s Pro Ultra arrived in 2026, whilst the Dreame X50 Ultra Blanca did so in 2025. The third model, the Dreame X50s Ultra, was launched in May 2026. All three units integrate advanced navigation systems with artificial intelligence, dual cameras and the ability to wash and dry mops automatically.
These robots are designed for users seeking complete automation in home cleaning. The main difference between them lies in suction power, the design of the navigation system and some specific functionalities such as UV disinfection or hot water mopping. All include side brush and mop extension to better reach edges and corners.
Power and Suction
The most notable difference in suction is marked by the Dreame X50s Ultra with its 35,000 Pa of suction power, which represents a 75% increase compared to the X50 Ultra Blanca which remains at 20,000 Pa. The L50s Pro Ultra sits in an intermediate position with 30,000 Pa. In practice, this can be especially noticeable on long-pile carpets or when there is accumulated ingrained dirt.
All three models share the same HyperStream dual brush system, specifically designed to prevent hair tangles. This type of brush is especially useful in homes with pets, as it significantly reduces manual maintenance. Additionally, all include an extendable and liftable side brush, with anti-tangle technology, which improves cleaning in corners and prevents the brush from dragging dirt during mopping.
The main brush can also be raised on all three robots when they are mopping, thus avoiding unnecessary wetting or interference with the mop system.
Mopping
All models use a system of two rotating mops with side extension capability and Roboswing movement to better reach edges and insert the mops slightly under furniture. Mop lift reaches 10.5 mm in all three cases, sufficient to climb medium-thickness carpets without wetting them.
The major difference is introduced by the Dreame X50s Ultra by incorporating hot water mopping, whilst the L50s Pro Ultra and the X50 Ultra Blanca use cold water. Hot water helps to better dissolve grease and adhered stains, which can make a difference in kitchens or high-traffic areas.
All three robots wash the mops at the base with hot water, which ensures they return clean to the floor during the mopping process. Drying is also carried out with hot air in all cases, preventing bad odours and bacterial proliferation. Additionally, they include dirt detection on both the mops and the floor, automatically adjusting the cleaning process as necessary.
A shared functionality is the automatic removal of mops at the base, allowing the robot to vacuum without dragging the mops through areas where mopping is not necessary.
Navigation System
The Dreame L50s Pro Ultra uses a traditional LiDAR turret, which explains its greater height of 103.8 mm. The other two models opt for retractable LiDAR, technology that allows reducing the robot's height: 89 mm on the X50 Ultra Blanca and only 79.5 mm on the X50s Ultra. This difference is crucial for accessing under low furniture, beds or sofas.
All three integrate dual cameras with artificial intelligence for object recognition. The X50s Ultra goes a step further with RGB cameras and improved lighting, as well as being capable of identifying up to 280 different obstacles. The L50s Pro Ultra recognises 220 objects and the X50 Ultra Blanca 200. All detect pets and curtains, adjusting their behaviour according to context.
Remote camera access is available on all three models, along with LEDs for night vision. This allows using the robot as a mobile surveillance camera when it is not cleaning. The front 3D laser sensor complements the navigation system on all of them, improving detection of low obstacles.
Autonomy and Battery
The Dreame X50 Ultra Blanca and the X50s Ultra are equipped with 6,400 mAh batteries, 23% more capacity than the 5,200 mAh of the L50s Pro Ultra. We only know the autonomy of the X50 Ultra Blanca, which reaches 180 minutes of continuous operation. This greater capacity is especially useful in homes of more than 150 square metres or in intensive cleaning that requires several mopping cycles with intermediate mop washing.
The L50s Pro Ultra, despite having a smaller battery, can compensate for this limitation with automatic intermediate charging cycles, although in very large houses it might need more total time to complete the cleaning.
Smart Functions
All three robots can overcome simple steps, a useful capability for moving between rooms with small level differences or passing door thresholds without getting blocked. None includes a robotic arm.
All integrate their own voice assistant in addition to compatibility with Alexa and Google Home, allowing control of the robot through voice commands both with Dreame's proprietary system and with the most common home ecosystems.
Multifunctional Cleaning Base
All three bases offer auto-emptying of the dust container, mop washing with hot water and drying with hot air. The dust bag has a capacity of 3.2 litres in all cases, sufficient for several weeks without manual intervention.
A relevant difference is UV disinfection, present only on the Dreame X50 Ultra Blanca. This function adds an extra layer of sanitisation during the base cleaning process.
Clean water tanks vary slightly: 4.5 litres on the L50s Pro Ultra and the X50 Ultra Blanca, compared to 4.2 litres on the X50s Ultra. The dirty water tank is 4 litres on the first two and 3 litres on the X50s Ultra. These differences are minimal in daily use, although very large houses may benefit from the larger tanks to avoid refilling or emptying so frequently.
All three models include a detergent tank and third-generation self-cleaning of the washing tray. There is an optional plumbing connection kit that is purchased separately, although none comes with integrated connection from the factory.
Dimensions
The Dreame X50s Ultra is the lowest at 79.5 mm in height, which allows it to access under furniture where the other two cannot enter. The X50 Ultra Blanca measures 89 mm and the L50s Pro Ultra reaches 103.8 mm due to its traditional LiDAR turret. The diameter is practically identical: 350 mm on the L50s Pro Ultra and the X50 Ultra Blanca, 352 mm on the X50s Ultra.
The bases also present differences. The X50s Ultra has a wider base (390 mm) but considerably less tall (499 mm) than the other two, which measure 340 mm in width and exceed 590 mm in height. The depth is around 423-457 mm. This should be considered if the available space for the base is limited in height or width.
Real-World Experience
For large homes, the Dreame X50 Ultra Blanca and the X50s Ultra offer greater autonomy thanks to their 6,400 mAh battery. The X50s Ultra adds the advantage of greater suction power and hot water mopping, ideal for maintaining impeccable floors in houses of more than 200 square metres.
In homes with pets, all three models work well thanks to the HyperStream anti-tangle brush and the high suction power, especially notable on the X50s Ultra with its 35,000 Pa. The ability to recognise pets and adjust cleaning avoids unnecessary frights.
If there is low furniture, the X50s Ultra makes a difference with its 79.5 mm height. It can clean under beds, sofas and wardrobes where the other two would be blocked. The L50s Pro Ultra, at 103.8 mm, is the most limited in this aspect.
For those seeking maximum hygiene, the X50 Ultra Blanca includes UV disinfection at the base, whilst the X50s Ultra provides hot water mopping on the floor, more effective against grease and difficult stains. The combination of mop washing with hot water on all three models guarantees professional-quality mopping.
Conclusion: Which to Choose?
Choose the Dreame L50s Pro Ultra if you are looking for a balance between features and have sufficient space under furniture (more than 11 cm of free height). Its 30,000 Pa of power is sufficient for most homes and its traditional LiDAR turret is a proven and reliable system. It is suitable for medium-sized homes without extreme autonomy requirements.
Choose the Dreame X50 Ultra Blanca if you especially value hygiene and want UV disinfection at the base. With 180 minutes of autonomy, it works well in large houses. Its height of 89 mm allows it to access under most standard furniture. The power of 20,000 Pa is the lowest of the three, but it is still sufficient for hard floors and medium-thickness carpets.
Choose the Dreame X50s Ultra if you need maximum suction power (35,000 Pa), want to mop with hot water directly on the floor and have low furniture to clean under. At only 79.5 mm in height, it accesses where other robots cannot. It is the most complete option for large houses with pets, demanding carpets and the need for deep mopping. Its ability to recognise 280 obstacles makes it the most intelligent of the three.
