Introduction

We're looking at two latest-generation robot vacuum cleaners with mopping that represent very different technologies. The Mova P50s Ultra arrives in 2025 as a proposal from Mova, Dreame's second brand, whilst the Roborock Qrevo Curv 2 Flow is presented in February 2026 as one of the most recent offerings from the world's leading brand in this sector.

Both units integrate a complete multifunction base, advanced navigation with artificial intelligence and sophisticated mopping systems. However, their technical approaches differ considerably: one opts for raw power and compact design, the other for versatility and roller mopping technology. The choice will depend on the type of home and each user's priorities.

Power and Suction

The Mova P50s Ultra stands out with a suction power of 24000 Pa Turbo, a figure higher than the 20000 Pa of the Roborock Qrevo Curv 2 Flow. This difference can be relevant on long-pile carpets or in homes with pets that shed a lot of hair.

As for the main brush, the approach changes radically. The Mova model integrates a dual anti-tangle brush system, whilst the Roborock opts for its DuoDivide technology, which pushes hairs towards the central gap to facilitate direct suction. Both systems are anti-tangle and are designed to minimise maintenance, although they work differently.

A clear advantage of the P50s Ultra is its extendable side brush, which allows it to sweep corners better by projecting outwards when it detects edges. The Qrevo Curv 2 Flow doesn't incorporate this function, although it does have a dual anti-tangle side brush. Both robots lift both the main brush and the side brush during mopping, preventing them from getting unnecessarily wet.

Mopping

Here we find one of the most substantial differences in this robot vacuum cleaner comparison. The Mova P50s Ultra uses two rotating mops with extension system 3.0 that includes Roboswing, allowing the robot to make a characteristic movement to get the mops under furniture and overhangs. The Roborock Qrevo Curv 2 Flow, on the other hand, features a 270 mm roller that also extends to reach edges.

Mop lift is superior on the Roborock model: 15 mm plus the robot chassis, compared to the 10.5 mm of the Mova. This is useful when the robot moves from hard floors to carpets, preventing wet mops from touching them. However, only the P50s Ultra can leave the mops directly at the base when we want the robot to only vacuum, without needing to remove them manually.

Both models detect dirt both on the mops and on the floor, automatically adjusting mopping intensity and going back over particularly dirty areas. In practice, this makes the difference between superficial mopping and truly deep cleaning.

Navigation System

The Mova P50s Ultra features the FlashPulse system, whilst the Roborock Qrevo Curv 2 Flow incorporates Lidar 3D turret. Both units have an artificial intelligence camera, although the Mova boasts a dual camera. Both integrate a front 3D laser sensor and are capable of recognising up to 200 different types of obstacles.

A particular feature of the P50s Ultra is its ability to detect curtains, a function that the Qrevo Curv 2 Flow doesn't include. This can be useful in homes where long curtains touch the floor and we want to prevent the robot from dragging them or getting tangled. Both models recognise pets, allow remote camera access and have LEDs for night vision.

Regarding intelligent cleaning, the Mova uses CleanGenius whilst the Roborock opts for SmartPlan 3.0. Both systems adjust routes and power according to floor type and detected dirt level.

Autonomy and Battery

The Mova P50s Ultra's battery reaches 6400 mAh, exceeding the 5200 mAh of the Roborock Qrevo Curv 2 Flow. For the latter we know its autonomy: 242 minutes of continuous operation, more than sufficient for large homes. The P50s Ultra's autonomy data isn't available, although its greater battery capacity suggests similar or superior times.

These figures allow cleaning large surfaces without needing intermediate recharges, something especially practical in homes of more than 150 square metres where the robot must cover considerable distances.

Intelligent Functions

Neither robot incorporates a robotic arm, a function that remains exclusive to very specific models on the market. However, obstacle climbing capacity does present notable differences: the Mova P50s Ultra can overcome obstacles of 42-60 mm thanks to its extendable wheels, whilst the Roborock Qrevo Curv 2 Flow stays at 20 mm.

This difference is decisive in homes with thick carpets, high thresholds between rooms or small level changes. The P50s Ultra will be able to pass through places where the Roborock model could get stuck.

As for its own voice assistant, the Mova integrates a simple one, whilst the Qrevo Curv 2 Flow has a complete assistant that allows giving orders directly to the robot without going through the mobile app.

Multifunction Cleaning Base

Both multifunction bases wash and dry the mops automatically, but with important nuances. The Mova P50s Ultra washes the mops with hot water at 80°C, a very high temperature that guarantees deep sanitisation. The Roborock Qrevo Curv 2 Flow also uses hot water, although the exact temperature isn't specified.

Drying also differs: 45°C with hot air on the P50s Ultra, versus hot air without specific temperature on the Qrevo Curv 2 Flow. High temperatures in both washing and drying help eliminate bacteria and prevent bad odours in the mops.

Self-cleaning of the washing tray is present on both models. The Mova has a third-generation system, whilst the Roborock integrates its own system. Additionally, only the P50s Ultra includes UV disinfection and detergent tank in the base, allowing cleaning product to be added that's automatically dispensed during mop washing.

The Mova's dust bag has a capacity of 3.2 litres, exceeding the 2.7 litres of the Roborock. The clean and dirty water tanks are identical: 4 litres and 3.5 litres respectively. Neither offers connection to water pipes, not even via optional kit.

Dimensions

Here appears one of the most striking differences. The Mova P50s Ultra measures just 82.5 mm in height, making it an extremely low robot capable of slipping under most furniture, sofas and beds. The Roborock Qrevo Curv 2 Flow reaches 119 mm, a considerable height that may prevent it from accessing low spaces.

In diameter they practically tie: 350 mm versus 353 mm. This 3-millimetre difference is irrelevant in practice. However, the 36.5 mm difference in height does make a significant difference in homes with furniture with little clearance from the floor.

The bases also present variations. The Mova's measures 420 mm wide, 470 mm high and 458 mm deep. The Roborock's is more compact and cubic: 450 mm in all three dimensions. It's advisable to measure the available space before deciding, especially if we're thinking of placing the base in a corner or under furniture.

Real-World Usage Experience

For large homes, the Mova P50s Ultra's larger battery and more generous dust bag represent clear advantages. Its ability to overcome obstacles of up to 60 mm is also useful in houses with thick carpets or pronounced level changes.

In homes with pets, both robots offer effective anti-tangle systems and sufficient power for animal hair. The Mova adds a bit more brute force with its 24000 Pa, but the Roborock's DuoDivide system also works very well in these scenarios.

If the home has lots of low furniture, the P50s Ultra's 82.5 mm height makes an enormous difference. It will be able to clean under almost any furniture without getting stuck. The Qrevo Curv 2 Flow, with its 119 mm, will need more ample spaces.

For those seeking maximum hygiene in mopping, the Mova's 80°C washing together with its UV disinfection and detergent tank offers a superior level. The Roborock's roller system, on the other hand, can be more effective on ingrained dirt thanks to its continuous mechanical action.

The fact that the P50s Ultra can leave the mops at the base makes things much easier when we only want to vacuum for several days without mopping. With the Qrevo Curv 2 Flow they would need to be removed manually.

Conclusion: Which to Choose?

Choose the Mova P50s Ultra if... you have a large home with low furniture, you're looking for maximum suction power and want a complete sanitisation system with water at 80°C, UV and detergent. Also if you need to overcome significant obstacles or value being able to leave the mops at the base automatically. Its ultra-low profile of 82.5 mm is ideal for cleaning under almost any furniture.

Choose the Roborock Qrevo Curv 2 Flow if... you prefer the proven reliability of the world's leading brand, value a complete voice assistant and are looking for a roller mopping system that can be more effective on certain stains. Its 15 mm mop lift is superior and may interest you if you have lots of carpets. Roborock also offers an especially polished app and a very well-established technical support ecosystem.

Ultimately, this comparison between the Mova robot vacuum cleaner and the Roborock robot vacuum cleaner shows two different philosophies for achieving excellent results. The best robot vacuum cleaner 2025 will depend on the specific characteristics of your home and your priorities regarding height, power or type of mopping.
