Introduction
Mova, Dreame's second brand, has launched two interesting proposals for those looking for a robot vacuum cleaner with a multifunctional base. The E30 Ultra arrived in 2024 as an entry-level option to the high-end range, whilst the P50 Pro Ultra lands in 2025 with significant improvements in practically all technical aspects.
Both units feature a rotating mop mopping system and a base that washes and dries the mops, but the differences in power, intelligence and cleaning functions are notable. The E30 Ultra may be suitable for small or medium-sized homes without too many complications, whilst the P50 Pro Ultra is aimed at users seeking maximum autonomy and the ability to adapt to any type of home.
Power and Suction
The most obvious difference between these Mova robot vacuum cleaners is in suction power. The E30 Ultra reaches 7000 Pa with its Turbo Force system, a decent figure for standard domestic use. The P50 Pro Ultra multiplies that capacity up to 19000 Pa Turbo Force, a figure that places it amongst the most powerful on the market in 2025.
The brushing system also evolves notably. The E30 Ultra mounts a simple brush that can be upgraded with an anti-tangle one, but it needs to be fitted separately. The P50 Pro Ultra integrates the TriCut 3.0 brush from the factory, which combines bristles with blades to cut hair and reduce tangles. This makes an important difference in homes with pets.
Where the 2025 model particularly stands out is in brush management during mopping. The P50 Pro Ultra can lift both the main brush and the side brush, preventing them from getting wet when mopping and improving efficiency on carpets. The E30 Ultra lacks this function. Additionally, the P50 Pro Ultra's side brush is extendable and anti-tangle, allowing better reach into corners and reducing maintenance.
Mopping
Both models employ dual rotating mops, but the performance differs quite a bit. The E30 Ultra offers a functional system with 10.5 mm mop lift, sufficient to pass over thin carpets without wetting them. However, the mops do not extend, limiting coverage at the edges.
The P50 Pro Ultra incorporates the 3.0 mop extension system with Roboswing, which allows better reach to the edges and performs an oscillating movement to get under furniture or overhangs. This function significantly improves perimeter cleaning.
Mop washing represents another fundamental difference. The E30 Ultra washes the mops with cold water and dries them with cold air, a basic system that works but requires more drying time. The P50 Pro Ultra washes the mops at 75°C and dries them with hot air at 45°C, better eliminating bacteria and reducing bad odours. Hot air drying speeds up the process and leaves the mops ready sooner for the next clean.
Only the superior model can leave the mops at the base when only vacuuming is needed, avoiding having to remove them manually. Furthermore, the P50 Pro Ultra detects dirt both on the mops and on the floor, rewashing or remopping the dirtiest areas automatically. This intelligence applied to mopping is not present in the E30 Ultra.
Navigation System
Both Mova robot vacuum cleaners mount 3D Lidar turret and front laser sensor to avoid obstacles. The difference lies in artificial intelligence and object recognition. The E30 Ultra lacks an AI camera, whilst the P50 Pro Ultra integrates a dual camera with the capacity to recognise up to 160 different types of obstacles.
The 2025 model adds night vision LED to map and clean correctly in low light conditions, something the E30 Ultra cannot do. Curtain detection is also exclusive to the P50 Pro Ultra, preventing the robot from getting tangled or dragging textiles.
For those who value home surveillance, the P50 Pro Ultra allows remote access to the camera from the app, becoming an additional security device. This function is not available on the E30 Ultra.
Both units feature CleanGenius AI to optimise cleaning routes, but the P50 Pro Ultra adds stain recognition by artificial intelligence, automatically adjusting mopping intensity according to detected dirt.
Autonomy and Battery
Battery capacity is identical in both: 5200 mAh. However, we only know the autonomy of the P50 Pro Ultra, which reaches 210 minutes of continuous operation. This figure allows covering large homes without the need for intermediate recharges.
In practice, the greater efficiency of the P50 Pro Ultra and its ability to lift brushes and mops according to the surface may translate into better battery utilisation, although we do not have direct comparative data for the E30 Ultra.
Smart Functions
The ability to overcome obstacles is similar but not identical. The E30 Ultra crosses obstacles up to 20 mm, whilst the P50 Pro Ultra reaches 22 mm. It may seem a minor difference, but those additional 2 mm facilitate passage over certain types of thick carpets or door thresholds.
The P50 Pro Ultra incorporates a simple proprietary voice assistant, allowing commands to be given directly to the robot without going through the app. The E30 Ultra does not have this function, although both are compatible with external assistants such as Alexa or Google Assistant.
Multifunctional Cleaning Base
Both bases perform dust auto-emptying, mop washing and drying, but the P50 Pro Ultra's is technologically superior. The washing tray self-cleaning is third generation in the 2025 model, compared to the second generation of the E30 Ultra. This translates into less need for manual maintenance and better long-term hygiene.
The detergent tank is another important difference. The P50 Pro Ultra includes it, automatically dispensing cleaning product during mop washing. The E30 Ultra does not have this option, limiting itself to washing with water only.
Dust bag capacity is the same: 3.2 litres in both cases, sufficient for several weeks without changing it. Water tanks differ slightly. The E30 Ultra has 4.5 litres of clean water and 4 litres of dirty, whilst the P50 Pro Ultra slightly reverses the proportions with 4 litres of clean and 3.5 of dirty. In practice, both configurations offer similar autonomy.
Neither includes connection to plumbing nor an optional kit for it, so it will be necessary to refill and empty the tanks manually.
Dimensions
The diameter is identical: 350 mm. Height varies slightly, with the E30 Ultra being lower at 97 mm compared to the P50 Pro Ultra's 103.8 mm. Those almost 7 mm of difference may be relevant if you have very low furniture, although both fit without problems under most standard sofas and beds.
The bases present more notable differences. The E30 Ultra's is taller (590.5 mm versus 470 mm) but narrower (340 mm versus 420 mm). Depth is practically the same. It's advisable to measure the available space before deciding, especially if you plan to place the base in a recess or cupboard.
Real-World Experience
For small or medium-sized homes without pets and with basic cleaning needs, the E30 Ultra performs correctly. The 7000 Pa power is sufficient for hard floors and thin carpets, and the rotating mop mopping system offers acceptable results.
If you have pets, the P50 Pro Ultra makes the difference. The TriCut 3.0 anti-tangle brush installed as standard and the greater suction power facilitate hair collection. The anti-tangle side brush also reduces maintenance, an important point when there are animals at home.
In large homes, the confirmed 210-minute autonomy of the P50 Pro Ultra and its greater intelligence to optimise routes are decisive. The ability to detect dirt and adjust mopping automatically saves time and improves results.
The P50 Pro Ultra's mop washing with hot water at 75°C is especially relevant if there are young children or allergy sufferers, as it better eliminates bacteria and allergens. Hot air drying also prevents the proliferation of mould and bad odours.
The possibility of leaving the mops at the base when you only need to vacuum makes daily use of the P50 Pro Ultra more convenient. On the E30 Ultra you will have to remove them manually if you don't want them to get wet unnecessarily.
Conclusion: Which to Choose?
Choose the Mova E30 Ultra if you're looking for a robot vacuum cleaner with a multifunctional base at a more contained price, your home is small or medium-sized without special complications, you don't have pets that shed a lot of hair and you don't need advanced functions such as surveillance camera or intelligent dirt detection. It's a reasonable option for getting started with automated cleaning with mopping.
Choose the Mova P50 Pro Ultra if you want the best technology available in 2025 within the brand, you have pets and need effective anti-tangle brushes, you value mop washing with hot water and rapid drying with hot air, your home is large and you need ample autonomy, you want intelligent dirt detection to optimise mopping, you're looking for a robot that also serves as a surveillance camera with remote access, or you simply prefer maximum convenience with detergent tank and advanced base self-cleaning.
The price difference between both models should be justified by the technical improvements of the P50 Pro Ultra. For most demanding users or those with complex homes, the additional investment pays off in features, convenience and cleaning results.
