All three incorporate multifunctional bases that wash and dry the mops with water and hot air, as well as auto-emptying the dust container. These are robots designed for users seeking total automation and good results in both vacuuming and mopping, especially useful in medium or large homes where manual maintenance would take too much time.
Power and Suction
The most striking difference appears in suction power. The Dreame L40s Pro Ultra delivers 19,000 Pa, a figure that practically doubles the Roborock Qrevo Master and significantly exceeds the L40 Ultra's 11,000 Pa. In practice, this difference is particularly noticeable on carpets and when there's pet hair embedded in fabrics.
Regarding the brushing system, both Dreame models are equipped with the TriCut 3.0 brush, which combines bristles with blades to cut tangled hair. The Roborock Qrevo Master opts for its DuoDivide dual brush system, which pushes hair towards the central suction gap. Both approaches work well, although the design varies.
All three robots lift the main brush when activating mopping mode, preventing it from getting unnecessarily wet. But there's an important difference with the side brush: both the L40 Ultra and the L40s Pro Ultra can lift it during mopping and also feature anti-tangle technology on this component. All three feature the same 5,200 mAh battery, but performance varies. The Dreame L40s Pro Ultra offers 220 minutes of autonomy, the L40 Ultra reaches 194 minutes and the Roborock Qrevo Master stops at 180 minutes. The difference may be due to optimisations in software or power management.
For large homes, those extra 40 minutes of the L40s Pro Ultra can mean completing cleaning in a single pass without needing intermediate recharges. In medium or small-sized flats, any of the three has more than sufficient autonomy.
Smart Functions
The Dreame L40s Pro Ultra overcomes thresholds of up to 22 mm, an improvement over the Roborock Qrevo Master's 20 mm. The L40 Ultra also delivers 22 mm. It may seem minor, but those additional 2 millimetres allow navigating some door profiles or level changes that could stop the Qrevo Master.
All three robots include their own voice assistant and compatibility with Alexa and Google Home. None feature a robotic arm, a technology that hasn't yet reached these models.
Multifunctional Cleaning Base
All three bases perform auto-emptying of the dust container, mop washing with hot water and drying with hot air. The difference lies in the details.
The Dreame models incorporate a detergent tank in the base, something the Roborock Qrevo Master doesn't offer. This allows the Dreame models to dispense cleaning product during mop washing automatically, whilst with the Qrevo Master you'd have to add it manually to the clean water tank if you want to use it.
Regarding self-cleaning of the washing tray, the L40s Pro Ultra debuts the third generation of this system, the L40 Ultra features the second generation and the Qrevo Master version 1.0. This implies improvements in cleaning the base itself to prevent dirt accumulation.
The dust bag is larger in the Dreame models: 3.2 litres compared to 2.7 litres for the Roborock. The clean water tanks also favour the Dreame models with 4.5 litres compared to 4 litres, and for dirty water 4 litres compared to 3.5 litres. The bases do vary more. The Dreame bases measure 340 mm wide, 590.5 mm high and 456.7 mm deep. The Roborock Qrevo Master base is lower (521 mm) but deeper (487 mm). If you have height limitations for placing the base, the Qrevo Master may fit better. If depth is the problem, the Dreame models take up less depth.
Real-World Usage Experience
For large homes over 100 square metres, the Dreame L40s Pro Ultra offers the best combination: maximum suction power, greater autonomy and larger tanks in the base. The ability to recognise 180 obstacles also helps in homes with many objects or young children who leave toys on the floor.
If there are pets, all three work well, but the anti-tangle systems on the side brush in the Dreame models reduce maintenance. The extra power of the L40s Pro Ultra also makes a difference with long hair on carpets.
Automatic mop detachment on the Dreame models is convenient if you alternate vacuum-only days with full mopping days. The Roborock requires manual intervention for this, which may be less practical day-to-day.
The automatic detergent tank on the Dreame models simplifies the process, although it's not essential. With the Qrevo Master you can add product to the clean water when needed.

Its 19,000 Pa and 180 identifiable objects make it the most advanced option for large homes, with thick carpets, long-haired pets or complex environments with lots of furniture and objects. The extra autonomy also helps complete large surfaces without interruptions.
Choose the Roborock Qrevo Master if you trust the reliability of the world's leading brand and prefer a more compact base in height. It works very well in homes where you don't need maximum power or the automatic detergent tank. It's a good option for those who value the stability of the Roborock app and don't mind manually removing the mops when they only want to vacuum. For flats up to 80-90 square metres without very thick carpets, it performs perfectly.
