Introduction
We're looking at two robots from Dreame, albeit with different names. The Dreame L10s Ultra Gen 3, launched in November 2025, and the Mova P50s Ultra, also from 2025. Mova is Dreame's second brand, and whilst they share technological DNA, these models present significant technical differences worth analysing.
Both units are designed for users seeking minimal maintenance thanks to their multifunctional bases with auto-emptying, mop washing and drying. However, the Mova P50s Ultra incorporates more advanced technology in several areas, whilst the L10s Ultra Gen 3 maintains a more traditional approach with some specific advantages.
Power and Suction
Suction power is practically equivalent: 25,000 Pascals on the Dreame L10s Ultra Gen 3 and 24,000 on the Mova P50s Ultra. That difference of a thousand pascals is imperceptible in day-to-day use.
Where there are substantial changes is in the brushing system. The Dreame L10s Ultra Gen 3 features a single main brush, whilst the Mova P50s Ultra incorporates a dual anti-tangle brush. This design on the Mova significantly reduces hair tangles, something essential if you live with pets. The Mova's side brush is also anti-tangle, an additional advantage that the Dreame model doesn't offer.
Another relevant aspect: the Mova P50s Ultra can lift both the main brush and the side brush during mopping. This prevents dragging dry dirt whilst mopping and improves efficiency on mixed floors. The Dreame L10s Ultra Gen 3 doesn't lift any of its brushes. That said, both models feature an extendable side brush to better reach corners.
Mopping
Both robots mop with two rotating mops and offer side extension with movement to better reach edges. Mop lift reaches 10.5 mm in both cases, sufficient for medium-thickness carpets.
The differences appear in advanced functions. The Mova P50s Ultra washes the mops with hot water, which improves the removal of grease and stuck-on dirt. The Dreame L10s Ultra Gen 3 only uses cold water. Both dry the mops with hot air, so on that point they're equal.
The Mova P50s Ultra automatically removes the mops at the base when you only want to vacuum, avoiding having to do it manually. The Dreame L10s Ultra Gen 3 doesn't have this function. Additionally, the Mova detects dirt on both the mops and the floor, adjusting mopping as needed. The Dreame model lacks these intelligent detections.
For homes where mopping is a priority, these differences matter considerably.
Navigation System
The Dreame L10s Ultra Gen 3 uses a traditional LiDAR 3.0 turret, whilst the Mova P50s Ultra features the FlashPulse system. Both include a front 3D laser sensor to avoid obstacles and recognise pets.
The major difference lies in artificial intelligence. The Mova P50s Ultra integrates a dual AI camera capable of recognising up to 200 different types of obstacles. It detects curtains to avoid getting caught, incorporates night vision LED and allows remote camera access from your mobile. This latter feature can be useful for monitoring the home or locating pets.
The Dreame L10s Ultra Gen 3 has no AI camera or front LED. Its navigation is more basic, although effective thanks to LiDAR. If privacy concerns you or you simply don't need video surveillance functions, this model may suit better.
Both feature CleanGenius AI intelligent cleaning, but only the Mova adds AI stain recognition for automatic re-mopping.
Autonomy and Battery
The Mova P50s Ultra's battery reaches 6,400 mAh, notably superior to the 5,200 mAh of the Dreame L10s Ultra Gen 3. In practice, the Dreame offers 231 minutes of autonomy according to specifications. We don't have the equivalent figure for the Mova, although its greater capacity suggests similar or superior times.
For large homes, that battery difference can make the difference between completing cleaning in a single run or needing an intermediate recharge. The dust and water tanks in the robot are identical: 300 ml for dust and 80 ml for water.
Smart Functions
Both robots can overcome obstacles, albeit with nuances. The Dreame L10s Ultra Gen 3 overcomes thresholds up to 20 mm, whilst the Mova P50s Ultra handles simple thresholds without specifying exact height. In practice, both should navigate carpets and small level changes without problem.
The Mova P50s Ultra incorporates its own voice assistant, allowing direct voice control without going through Alexa or Google Home. The Dreame L10s Ultra Gen 3 only supports external assistants. This function can be convenient if you prefer not to depend on third-party ecosystems.
Multifunctional Cleaning Base
Both bases perform auto-emptying, mop washing and drying with hot air. They also include third-generation tray self-cleaning and detergent tank. The dust bag capacity is identical: 3.2 litres.
The Mova P50s Ultra washes the mops with hot water, as we've already mentioned, and adds UV disinfection to eliminate bacteria. The Dreame L10s Ultra Gen 3 doesn't have UV. As for water tanks, the Dreame has 4.5 litres of clean water and 4 of dirty; the Mova has 4 litres of clean and 3.5 of dirty. Minimal differences that don't affect daily use too much.
The Dreame L10s Ultra Gen 3 offers an optional plumbing connection kit, purchased separately. This may interest those wanting to forget about refilling tanks, although it involves additional installation. The Mova doesn't have this option.
Dimensions
The diameter is identical: 350 mm in both cases. Height marks a significant difference: the Dreame L10s Ultra Gen 3 measures 97 mm, whilst the Mova P50s Ultra stays at 82.5 mm. Those additional 14.5 mm can be decisive for passing under low furniture, sofas or beds with little clearance.
The bases also differ. The Dreame L10s Ultra Gen 3's is narrower (340 mm) but taller (590 mm). The Mova P50s Ultra's is wider (420 mm) but lower (470 mm). Depth practically equal: 457 mm versus 458 mm. It's worth measuring available space before deciding.
Real-World Experience
The Mova P50s Ultra is more comprehensive in almost all technical areas. Its dual anti-tangle brush, brush lifting, hot water mop washing, dirt detection and dual AI camera make it a more advanced option. Its lower height facilitates access under furniture.
The Dreame L10s Ultra Gen 3 stands out for its greater suction power (although the difference is minimal), slightly larger water tanks and the possibility of adding plumbing connection. Its camera-free navigation may appeal to users concerned about privacy.
For homes with pets, the Mova's anti-tangle system makes a clear difference. If you have combined carpets and hard floors, the Mova's brush lifting optimises mopping. In large homes, the Mova's greater battery offers additional peace of mind.
Conclusion: Which to Choose?
Choose Dreame L10s Ultra Gen 3 if: you prefer a robot without a camera for privacy reasons, you value the future option of connecting to plumbing, or you're looking for an effective solution without needing the most advanced functions. Its narrower base may fit better in tight spaces.
Choose Mova P50s Ultra if: you live with pets and need anti-tangle brushes, you want the best possible mopping with hot water and dirt detection, you're looking for greater battery autonomy, you need to pass under low furniture, or you value functions like remote camera access and built-in voice assistant. It's the most technically complete option.
Ultimately, the Mova P50s Ultra represents the technological evolution within the Dreame family, whilst the L10s Ultra Gen 3 maintains a more traditional approach with excellent basic features. The choice will depend on which functions you consider essential and which simply interesting.
