We're looking at a high-end robot vacuum and mop that combines 18500 Pa suction power with an advanced dual rotating mop system, all managed by artificial intelligence capable of recognising up to 62 different types of obstacles.
With its 18500 Pa suction power, this model guarantees effective results on both hard floors and carpets. The DuoDivide main brush comes pre-installed and stands out for its anti-tangle design, especially useful for homes with pets where hair tends to be a common problem. This system pushes hair towards the central gap for direct suction, drastically reducing the need for manual brush maintenance.
The side brush is not only anti-tangle, but also features an extendable function to better reach corners and edges. In practice, this means the robot can get closer to walls and collect dirt accumulated in difficult areas. Additionally, the main brush is liftable, which allows cleaning optimisation according to surface type and prevents it from unnecessarily dragging dirt across carpets when it only needs to mop.
The Roborock Qrevo Curv's mopping system incorporates two rotating mops that operate at 200 RPM, applying constant pressure on the floor. The mops feature FlexiArm technology, which allows them to extend to mop edges and corners, areas that traditionally remain uncleaned on many robots. The mop lift reaches between 10 and 20 mm, sufficient to avoid wetting carpets or rugs during the cleaning process.
What's truly remarkable is the mop self-cleaning system with hot water at 75°C, which guarantees deep disinfection after each use. During the mopping session, the robot detects dirt on both the mops and the floor, returning to the base when necessary to wash the mops and continue with clean cloths. Upon completion, the mops are dried with hot air at 45°C, which prevents bad odours and bacterial growth. The base also features the 2.0 watertight self-cleaning system to maintain the washing tray in optimal condition.
Navigation is based on a 360° LIDAR turret combined with dual artificial intelligence cameras and a front 3D laser sensor. This triple technology allows the unit to map the home with millimetre precision and avoid obstacles in real time. The system recognises 62 different types of objects, including pets, and features LED for night vision, maintaining its effectiveness even in low-light conditions.
The RR Mason 11.0 algorithm manages all this information through SmartPlan 2.0, an intelligent cleaning system that adapts the strategy according to room type and detected dirt level. At the end of each session, the robot automatically returns to empty its dust bin and, if it has mopped, wash and dry the mops.
This level of automation considerably reduces user intervention. In practice, it will only be necessary to empty the dust bag every several weeks and refill the clean water tank according to mopping frequency. The tray self-cleaning system ensures that the base itself remains hygienic without additional effort.
